Theme? Well, I just turned 13 in May, what I did was take a bunch of people to a movie and have dinner at East Side Mario's restaurant. But since you absolutely can't do that, I think something more themeless would be good. I mean seriously, you guys are turning 13, like teenagers! Celebrate the start of your teen years by having a crazy wild party (not like the sh it you see on t.v). Just keep it themeless and it'll be good. Maybe for ur next birthdays it could be themed, especially your 16th, but for your 13th.. keep it as a normal party. Just not with the "loot bags" and "pin the tail". You guys have outgrown such games and things. Take my advice and keep it simple :):D HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH OF YA! :D

Huge sleep over with cake and lots of sugary things! To keep you awake, definitely play spin the bottle if there's gonna be dudes there. Play beer pong, just use pop instead of beer. And make sure you have a lot of scary movies with some funny ones thrown in!
by paper drill 2012-03-02 15:37:19
I'm going to make a couple assumptions, so tell me if I'm wrong. The party will have girls and guys. You have a guest list of 13-25 people. Though you can't do a dance party, your house is still available for use, just not too much moving around, and you don't have a usable backyard. You don't feel like spending huge bucks on it, you just want it to be fun, but simple. If you are looking to spend big bucks on a party, I'm not the person to ask. I just like throwing parties at home, where I can have people hyped up on sugar and do things that they want, HAVE FUN, but I'm not a dance oriented person, or a let's all get wasted type of person. Alcohol is not allowed in my books. Good old fashion crazy fun.If you're looking for some crazy, you need a couple of things:1. A group of people who are totally able to jam at said crazy party, this can be achieved by having a group of friends that all know each other, or or people who can relax and have fun. You probably have this down. If your friends are quiet, you might need to be more creative.2. Your parents need to be able to monitor, but without cramping that party. This means having them only interfere when it's food time, or it gets too out of control. The stuff you talk about, at a party or just hanging out, is not what most people would say in front someones parents, so if they agree to be around but hands off, most people will turn up the crazy if they are in a group anyway.3. The main objective for it to get a crazy feel, is lots of talk, and often good music. Get a good playlist of music that is dance-able to. I'm not suggesting you let people dance, but the music that gives people energy, is up beat and dance-able. Subconscious energy goes a long way. Alright here's where the advice gets vague, because I'm not sure what you're into, and it just depends on how mature you and your friends are. I am in no way condoning children doing adult like things, as I mentioned earlier, no drugs, no alcohol. Those are bad. Pretending however, I see in a better light. Things like mock-tails, or those carbonated drinks that are bottled to look like fancy champagne or something, those are cool. Truth or Dare is a good game. Look up any party game they all get things going, and the end result is always interesting (should #2 be followed). Anyway, you know how far you can take that, but once again no alcohol! Sorry to stress it so much, but I don't want to give the wrong idea to anyone. Have I answered all your questions?

Hey Mileycyrus,Have a get together at your place. This is what I did for my 17th in June. One game that we played was this card discussion game at my sleepover. We also all created hypothetical scenarios on some cards. Then we put them all together, mixed them around a bit, and then pulled one out, read it out and all discussed it.eg: 'Be married but live in the 60’s or be single and live in the 1900’s?'*going around the circle*person one: definitely in the 60’s I can relate more...person two: no no! I’ve always wanted to secretly travel back in time, going to the 1900’s would be amazing! You would not believe that amount of discussion that was created! We learnt so much about each other through the most bizarre questions. I mean, you don't even have to do this at a sleepover or anything.Maybe also get your friends to bring along a plate of food to share and their favourite CDs and DVDs. As stereotypical as it all sounds, we all actually had a lot of fun. And, great photos :DPerhaps a picnic? This is relatively inexpensive, bring along a picnic basket, some home made cupcakes etc and you can all gossip and have fun at a park. Or do this in your garden!Garage party- clear out your garage, get out your stereo , ask your friends to bring along their favourite CD's. All you need to do is maybe buy food for everyone and some decorations. Plus, lollybags are still cool, no matter what anyone says :P haha!House parties are the best parties, perhaps make it themed, if your girly, make the theme 'you all have to wear pink' or something like that. At my friends, we had a donut eating competition, dance off (two teams- it sounds lame but everyone was uncontrollably laughing at some of the moves we all came up with) and balloon voleyball. For my friends last party, the theme was "dress as something that shares the first letter of your name".For example, my names lily and I went as a lion haha.Hope some of these suggestions helped you out a little! Good luck!

Well for my 13th I had about 10 girl come we all dressed up really fancy and my parents made and really yummy dinner of fetachini alfredo shrimp fruit jell-o and barry punch. then we had fake margarita, pinaclodas and fondue. then we voted on eachother's outfits played tons of teen group game such as charades and pas the apple, just google fun game for teen for that. Then I took my bro's guitar amps plugged my i-pod in and danced all night till about 1:30 A.M then we went in my hot tub. then was all got in our pj's and watched a movie! IT WAS THE BEST EVER!Another party that was great was spa theme. I got ton os lotions nail polish foot scrubs water fiz tablets foot bath tubs etc. Then we all did our own spa (2 of my friends have taken mash lesions).just be careful with that one because you take you shirts of for the mashes and that could make your guest fell werd. sorry bout my spelling

i think u should invite ur closest friends...boy or girl. unless u want a big party. dont invite someone u arent comfortable with! i think that probably at movie nite theme or a bowling party. not a sleepover if u want guys to go or maybe u can have a sleepover after the party for some of ur close girl friends. If u are going to have a casual party, u should have "casual" not fancy food. Like burgers, hot dogs, or u can go to a restruant if u like. Maybe like an ethic restraunt like mexican food, japanese, etc. Or just plain fast food if u like but i personally am not a big fan. Good luck!

Everyone came dressed in pink or black or pink and black and there were pink and black balloons, pink plates, pink table cloths, pink bowls, pink food, a pink cake, pink cups. and then we had a karaoke machine and we had a treasure hunt and if people didn't want to sing they just hung out of the stage (we rented a church hall that had a stage) or played tag. it was really fun.

Just pick a really random thing, like platypuses. Not only are they hilarious, it would be really fun to try and find platypus cutlery, platypus balloons, platypus party hats... You could wear a full suit platypus costume! Project film footage of platypuses onto a blank wall, or sheet. Have a cake shaped like a platypus. Have the sounds of rippling water and the outback playing, instead of music, so it sounds like you are all in your habitat.

Don't count on that many showing up...My granddaughter invited 20 and only 5 showed. A party theme always helps...but...I would just have cake, pizza. If you want to you could make cupcakes and have icing and all kinds of edible items to let them decorate their own. You could divide into teams and have a scavenger hunt. That's always fun...I would warn my neighbors. My daughter had a scavenger hunt once and they had to take a picture of things they did.Like, kiss a clown,Get a free ice cream cone, climb to the top of a large slide on the playground at nite. Hit a ball from a realbaseball diamond.,picture of sliding down a firehouse pole.Buy,and wear a red scarf(from like the dollar store.)Whatever the things were to do for each team they had to show the pictures...like you could come home and download the pics. and then watch all the funny things each team did..Really funny and entertaining.then declare a winner. They would remember your party.Of course your gonna have to get 2 adults to drive you.Or just do it in the neighborhood. If both teams carry a video camera it's easier, then just down load each one...makes for a fun, cool, party.

What we did was split up into two teams and each team had an elected leader who got a bag containing a list of challenges, team rules, shops map, and a pen. The challenges were things you had to find and take a picture of, for example 'take a picture of a small dog' and trick questions, like 'drive a racing car' which meant drive a remote controlled car. my mum made the challenges for the game, because it wouldn't be fair if i made them. we had one hour to complete all the challenges, and afterwards, since the hunt was free, i got everyone lunch at Mc Donalds. It was definatley the best party i ever had and trust me, you WILL love it!!!Kat :DDD

Low cost things:Murder mystery games are fairly cheap, and you can get a free one on-line at Red Herring Games if you have a mix of boys and girls coming... but I think it might be too high a content rating for you...Ready, steady cook night - etiher get parents to donate a box of ingredients and you split into teams and have to make a meal out of the ingredients in the box, or get the parents to donate £5 and you all go to asda and buy the ingredients yourself for a low cost meal.Treasure hunt - get your parents to write you a treasure hunt around the local area, you have to spot answers to the clues. This can be done on foot. Or, if you have access to SATNAV gear why not go geocaching - that's free too.Sleep over, with all the usual movies, dips and chips, popcorn, and makeovers.Facepack and makeover evening - you can do it with a sleepover or without.charity shopping - all get a certain amount of money and see who gets the best outfit.Get your parents to make you a posh meal in with menu etc and they be the waiter/waitress for the night.scavenger hunt. either with camera and you have to take photos of certain things, or get your parents to write you a treasure hunt style game looking for things in the local area.sweet party - a box of ingredients are given to you and you have to make a lot of sweets from that.scrap heap challenge. Collect together a load of junk and split into teams to try and build something. e.g. a mechanism for getting an egg from one side of the garden to another.Get your parents to run a traditional school sports day. (This can really fun if you can laugh at yourselves.)Meandering supper - you select three parents houses and you move between them getting a first course, main course and pudding at the different houses.Expensive things:- pony trekking- quad biking or go cart racing- visit to a theme park- a red letter experience e.g. hot air ballooning, tank driving- high ropes- x-scape or another real snow slope and book to go tobogganing- murder mystery party (great website below)- swimming- Book a restaurant and all go for a posh meal out

You can set up a runway and play music for each person's "walk." A mini fashion show! For dinner, I'd have a fancy-ish meal, with salad, then pasta and bread, and finally mini, individual cupcakes. Have your parent/guardian draw music notes in frosting, and decorate with colorful sprinkles.Yum!
