No, there is no such product (even your toothpaste, and the other products you use). Yes, even those products with the bunny on them have been tested on animals. The labeling is completely deceptive.First, if a company tested hasn't tested their products on animals in the past seven years, they are allowed to start putting the "not tested on animals" label on the product. Sot it was tested, just seven years ago or longer. So the leaping bunny can legally be slapped on the label.Companies are allowed to test (actually they are required by law in most cases) individual ingredients. Then the company combines the ingredients, and does not test the fine combination of products on animals...that product can legally be labeled as "not animal tested, cruelty free." That is the most common practice.Or the company tests all the ingredients, except one, on animals. Then they add the final ingredient (which is usually water) and can legally label their product "cruelty free, not animal tested."You need to educate yourself on the loopholes in the laws, just as the companies do, before you actually have any idea if your product is tested on animals or not. You can do a very good job whitening your teeth, simply by holding some hydrogen peroxide in your mouth. It tastes not so good, Hard to describe, but kind of a soapy after taste. Does the job though. You can also brush your teeth every once in a while with some table salt, and baking soda. The baking soda also whitens teeth. Just don't do the salt/baking soda very often. You don't want to wear the enamel down on your teeth. You can make a paste of baking soda, and water, and glob it on your teeth with your finger. Again, tastes bad (very salty tasting) but does the job. Both baking soda and hydrogen peroxide are extremely cheap. ~GarnetPermaculture homesteading/farming over 20 yearsGrandfather was a dentist. You should visit a dentist to ask about teeth whitening. I wonder how bad your teeth look and how strong they are. You're not doing anything beneficial to your health by buying so called "vegan" toothpaste. The fluoride in toothpaste helps the prevention of dental cavities for all people, especially kids. And the active fluoride in the toothpaste is such a negligible amount anyway. About 50 percent of fluoride (from any source) is deposited in the bone and teeth; the other half is excreted. As a matter of fact, all tea leaves, wine, beer, even in bottled water like Evian contain fluoride. mature leaves contain as much as 10 to 20 times the fluoride levels of young leaves from the same plant. Both green and black tea contain fluoride, although green tea contains twice the amount found in black. However, I wouldn't worry about the fluoride you get from either type of tea because even with green tea, the amount that people drink is unlikely to supply enough fluoride to reach toxic levels. And You always hear how healthy drinking tea is.

I like natural whiteners, like strawberries, apples, and swishing saltwater. To do the saltwater thing, just get like half a glass of warm water, put some salt in it, and mix it up. Put some in your mouth and swish it around for a few minutes (your mouth should be kind of full of water but not too full). Then spit it out and rinse your mouth. This is supposed to make your gums healthier and it seems to make my teeth brighter. My mom taught me that trick.Eating strawberries naturally whiten your teeth. =)Eating apples helps clean your teeth because they get the plaque off.

brush with baking soda + peroxide. Every day, twice a day! If you have sensitive teeth you might not want to do this for more than two weeks at a time. I have also heard that lemon peel can help whiten teeth (be careful with lemon juice though, because prolonged use can strip the enamel from your teeth! I know bc I used to drink lots of lemonade until my dentist told me to stop bc my teeth got really sensitive). Have you heard of the books "How it all Vegan" and "Garden of Vegan" by Sarah Kramer and Tanya Bernard?? They have a bunch of recipes for homemade cosmetics and housecleaners and stuff. Lots of them are super easy to make and probably safer than crap you will find on the internet. http://www.amazon.com/How-All-Vegan-10th…http://www.amazon.com/Garden-Vegan-How-A…

A great white smile is what everybody want. For better or not as good as how our teeth look helps to define us. When you meet someone for the first time, having great looking white teeth does make a big difference. A great part to having pearly whites is the fact that there is no revival time besides rinsing out your mouth. As you are vegan try some natural ways for teeth whiteningTeeth Whitening :-- Make a paste of dried orange peels and dried bay leaves and use it as a teeth whitener.-- Rub salvia leaves on your teeth after brushing.-- Rub your teeth with the inner white part of an orange peel or with powder of dried orange peels.-- Rub your teeth with white vinegar or apple cider.-- Rub your teeth with bark of walnut tree.-- Brush your teeth with wood ash.-- Add a drop of clove oil to your toothpaste and brush.-- Chew raw spinach for teeth whitening.Precautions :-- Do not take sugary foods in any form. Chocolates are also not good. If you do consume such foods, never forget to wash your mouth thoroughly with strong gargles so as not to leave any sweet residue in the mouth.-- Do not take excess tea and coffee. These beverages contain strong alkaloids which can stain the teeth.-- Smoking also makes teeth lose the white coloration of the teeth.-- Chewing betel leaf (paan) is done in several Indian regions. This is also disastrous to the whiteness of the teeth.-- Include pungent, bitter and astringent foods in your daily diet. These tastes have an astringent effect on the teeth that helps to maintain them clean. They also take care of the excess buildup of plaque on the teeth, which makes them lose their pearly white color.-- Brush your teeth after every meal, or at least in the morning and before going to bed. While brushing your teeth, take care to sweep out all the embedded food particles.

And You always hear how healthy drinking tea is.

brush with baking soda + peroxide.

I use Tom's of Maine, and Colgate. Crest is one of the worst to use, since it is manufactured and distributed by Proctor & Gamble.
