DEFINITELY NOT, This is a crazy idea, Besides not to be mean or anything but I think a lot of people who just become of age and enlist in the military are not the best combination with alchohol, People with guns who are drunk are really bad people to meet up with.

No, because most teenagers at this age still think they are invincible and cannot die, and this is why highway fatalities in the age group are so disproportionately high.By the way, if you can drink in clubs on base while you are serving, this explains why deaths among military personnel stationed on bases is far higher that the death rate in a war zone.[fact] They die just as easily in crashes within the base.

No. According to the military, only 25% of people 18-21 are even eligable to serve. I don't want the other 75%, the ones not smart enough or mature to serve, running around the country drunk...potentially being a hazard to themselves and others. If anything, just make it legal for 18 - 21 year olds that hold a military ID.

Great idea because then we'll have young people running around who have guns AND are drunk.Great suggestion!

Yes because we are legal adults and we can make our own choices. I also think the things most substances should be legal because they have found most to be less harmful than alcohol.
