Eggs left out on counter?

I just noticed that I forgot to put the (raw) eggs back into the fridge after breakfast. It is not 7am and I finished making breakfast around 4:15ish. It's not particularly warm in the kitchen as we live in a smallish apartment with an open floor plan. Should I toss them? I hope they're okay as we're pretty broke and I'd hate to waste an entire carton of eggs, minus the two I cooked.

If it is pretty cool they should be fine, like you said. But if its pretty warm, then i wouldnt use them.

nah, they should be fine. unless they were exposed to direct heat (on the stove while baking) they're ok. I've left eggs out for longer and they've still been good.

Quite safe to leave eggs out of the fridge for hours....not a problem.
