make sure you eat a good meal with bread like dinner rolls and take 2 asprin or tyleol before drinking and wait about a half hour after you eat before you start drinking and snack trh out the night NO SPICEY FOODS it will not agree with you and what you are drinking

Eat a decent meal. Empty stomach will be more upset with alcohol. Other than that, sometimes it's just luck of the draw! Good luck! And ~HAPPY NEW YEAR!~

you definitely have to eat. eat like a pretty big dinner and while you are drinking just pretty much keep eating because the food will help to absorb the alcohol. also, pace yourself so you will be able to keep drinking for longer! happy new year!

You don't want to drink on an empty stomach-you'll get sick for sure. Don't over-do it...I know you want to get drunk, but theres a point where you're as drunk as you can get and drinking more will just make you ill. Everyone reacts differently to different alcohol-Like me for example, if I drink tequila, I ALWAYS vomit...but I can drink large amounts of vodka and not puke...so I am not sure what kind of alcohol you handle best..but, try to stick to that. Something else I found that really helps, is to drink a lot of water while you're drinking alcohol (don't worry, it wont mess up your drunkness)...like have a beer, then a glass/bottle of water...have some water in between shots. It wont dilute your drunk, but it will dilute the alcohol in your stomach so you're less likely to throw up. Like I said, don't drink on an empty stomach, but don't stuff down McDonalds or a pizza before you drink-avoid greasy stuff-in my experience, that mixed with alcohol will make you puke. Eat something light, like a sub sandwich or something like that. Eat about an hour or 2 before you start to drink, there wont be enough left in your stomach to absorb the alcohol. These are just things that have worked for me.Good luck, have fun and be safe-and have a Happy New Year :)
