How can I prolong being drunk?

So obviously life sucks, yeah? Well I always feel better when I'm good and drunk. It's super easy to forget about all the crap that is "life" when I'm nice and alcohol'ed up. But the problem is my blissful-drunk state doesn't seem to ever last for more than 2-3 hours (just an estimate - a drunk estimate, at that). So I'm curious how I can prolong this wonderfully awesome-tastic state of blissfulness.I don't know much about the human body and how it reacts to alcohol. (well I know alcohol is really bad for you, I know my liver's going to fail me due to my alcoholism and then I'll die and go to hell for being a drunken sinner, etc etc. These things I already know and I'm cool with all that.) I'm just looking for some practical information on how I can maximize the amount of time I'm drunk in any given drinking session. Also, I know I need help, so no need to mention that. My depressed state is not the topic of the post. ^_^ I'm just interested in how to prolong this method of escapism. (In a universe where we all die and never exist again for an infinite amount of time, isn't _everything_ just a form of escapism?)

Well I think the answer is pretty obvious. You have to keep drinking more and more alcohol if you want to stay drunk all the time. You have built up a tolerance to it which means you have to drink more. There is no trick to staying drunk other than drinking more.Too bad it has to be this way for you. I just hope you don't have family and friends that loves you that has to go through this misery you will be putting them through. You get to escape in your booze soaked brain while they have the heartache and pain of watching you kill yourself. If this is truly the way you feel about things, then I suggest you just leave and do it on your own quietly and not involve them. The problem is most drunks need an enabler to stay drunk and that usually means family members and friends are there. I don't believe you will go to hell, but I do believe you are going to put anyone who cares about you through hell before it is over for you.

Chronic alcohol use causes your body to develop alternate metabolism pathways (microsomal ethanol oxidation system or MEOS) which results in a tolerance build up and faster come-down. A supplement called PPC (brand names "PhosChol" and "HepatoPro") will not only down-regulate MEOS, but will save your liver as well. --------------------------------------…A baboon study (Lieber CS et al., 1994) confirmed earlier results (Lieber CS et al., 1990) showing that in the baboon, feeding of ethanol results in hepatic fibrosis and cirrhosis even when associated with an adequate diet. This effect could be prevented by supplementing the diet with a 94-96% pure PPC preparation. None of the eight animals fed alcohol with PPC for up to 6.5 years had progression to fibrosis or cirrhosis as had 10 of 12 unsupplemented baboons, a highly significant difference. Another study (Ma X et al., 1996) revealed that PPC reduces hepatic fibrosis induced by either carbon tetrachloride or human albumin in rats, and that PPC not only prevents the development of fibrosis but accelerates the regression of pre-existing fibrosis. The study further suggested that the protective effect exerted by PPC against fibrosis is due, at least in part to increased collagen breakdown.
