What part of England do you come from.? Roast beef and Yorkshire or Fish and chips, Sausage and mash. These days curry is in top five English dishes.I have been a Chef for 45 years and have no idea what a Royal Steak is.The only web search I can find for that cut is in Hawaii. Treacle Pud and Custard or jelly and ice cream for desert. American Menu. My brother in Law lives in Kansas and his biggest moan is that everything on the menu has to have Cheese in it or on it.We went to an Italian in USA and only TWO items were without cheese. So........ Burger and fries. followed by Apple pie.but it would have to be cheese burger.

You must be American as that has no comparison at all with British food...if we going to get all stereotyped and a bit wrong about things, then American fare would be:- Breakfast...Maccy D McMuffins and coffee Lunch....KFC family bucket Dinner....Pizza with all the trimmings, huge amounts of ice cream and sugary drinks Supper...takeout of any variety with lots of beer... As required during the day...lots of Starbucks... Not so funny any more is it?

It would be described as a bunch of overly priced, fake, prepackaged, frozen food.

Depends on where you are in the states... Central California Coast: Start with a Caddilac Margarita with a Grand Marnier Float. Appetizers of stuffed baby mushrooms with herbs. Salad of baby greens with fresh pears, candied pecans, blue cheese and basalmic vinagrette. Main course of mixed grilled seafood and a small steak with a side of seasonal vegetables. Dessert (you mean you can still eat more!?!) of fresh fruit tart with lemon shortbread crust.

there's no such thing as "royal"steak in England, and they don't do baked squash with sweet potato marshmallow topping- no way. And they hardly eat cheesecake at all. They'd had a jam roly poly, or a trifle, or at best, a blackberry apple crumble. You got it wrong for a British menu. For American- fast food. Fried popcorn shrimp with sesame dipping suace and noodles goat cheese stuffed mushrooms in a creamy filo pastry Creamy lasagna with meat and lots of extra cheese, crumb topping and herbs, garlic bread with butter and cheese sticks ( Americans overdo everything with food) Chili cheese fries and Barbeque ribs, sweet potatos and honey mustard chicken wings Pan fried steak with parmesan crust and creamy whipped potatoes, green beans and steamed broccoli, Or a turkey pot pie with creamy mash potato ( always "creamy" in American food) Pecan pie with whipped cream German chocolate cake with a buttercream fudge frosting and caramel chips.

I would just go with your idea of a British menu if I were you - like all the other Brits answering here I have never heard of half the things you think we eat so they are probably what you would eat. Hell you couldn't even buy most of it in Britain.

Cholesterol and carbohydrates. Much like a UK breakfast, but you might get pancakes dripping with maple syrup or a Danish pastry on the side.
