Geoduck i love clams to begin with, and these things look <interesting> but at the cost of $30+ a pound i might just have to keep wishing.

I've had truffle butter on pasta but not the posh 'shavings'. Tbh it was just 'intense mushroom' to me but then I'm not terribly sophisticated ;) I would love to try John Dory fish and also snails even thought the thought makes me feel ill I just want to know what they taste like.Oh and that Durian fruit that is supposed to smell of putrified flesh but tastes heavenly.

hmn, i've tried truffles (at some fancy restaurant wedding of a relative or someone), frog legs (at the hawker centre), durian (especially 'mao shan wang' every year during durian season), etc. The geoduck looks eww..

Wirral squirrel. Or Loch Ness Monster... I'd like to try sushi or sashimi or whatever it's called, and a proper American hotdog or hamburger would be pretty tasty I think.

I wonder about truffles too. I also wonder about crawfish. Never had them but I've seen them on tv and they look awesome. There's nowhere to get them in Ohio.

A really good Petrussian caviar. I have had geoduck (live in LA), octopus, truffles both black and white from Italian market, durian (married to Indian doctor), crawfish in New Orleans and currently married to corporate chef that will eat virtually anything that doesn't eat him first. Truffles have an intensely rich mushroomy flavor that is best enjoyed in tiny portions with something else...not bland like your mother's button mushrooms or even spring chanterelles. Frog legs fresh from the pond and deep fried taste like chicken...really. As kids we got them served as chicken all the time. And you are absolutely right about snails....they taste really rubbery..I hate the texture and taste.
