Is there any such thing as a low aroma drip coffee maker?

The one we're currently using releases a massive cloud of steam into the air, and the smell gets into every nook and cranny in the house and stays there for hours sometimes. Is there a better one for confining the aroma to just the kitchen?

Not really, no. One option would be to purchase a unit that allows you to brew a single cup, or just don't make so much.

Just get a better quality one. Mine doesn't do that, well it does release some steam but no aroma
