you know that most of the vegans and vegetarians that are vegans/vegetarians for animal reasons don't support peta.

The only vegans I've ever met who would have anything to do with PETA were members of the bands I work with.

Yes, I'm vegan for the animals, and no, I don't support PETA, so stop posting irrevelant links.

Vegans and Vegetarians stay away from meat, because it is a byproduct of tortured animals. Some people are also vegetarian for religious reasons, health reasons, and environmental reasons. Not all vegans/vegetarians support PETA, so your article is highly flawed. On top of that, there are people who eat meat and still support PETA and the Humane Society, because they disagree with the way animals are treated. Lastly, most of the animals that PETA euthanizes via painless injection are animals that have tumors, missing limbs, diseases, and are in severe pain and would suffer a painful death if they were kept alive.http://blog.peta.org/archives/2009/03/wh…Euthanizing is not the same as keeping millions of animals crammed in cages, skinning them alive, clipping their beaks and ears, eletrocuting them, stomping them, boiling them alive, and hanging them upside down while continously stabbing them.http://www.humanesociety.org/news/news/2…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJ8iL3sx6…https://secure.peta.org/site/Advocacy?cm…Nice try, though.

1. Vegans "abstain" from a hell of a lot more than meat. 2. Veganism is a philosophy. PETA is an organisation. The two are not synonymous.3. The website you included is funded by the dairy industry.

some its ethics, some its health, some its both.many vegans don't agree with Peta, but still belive in not eating animals.

I don't understand why Anti Marx keeps asking stupid questions like this. Peta supports veganism, but didn't create it. Peta may or may not kill animals, but vegans have no connection to Peta at all. I don't understand your attitude though. You ask questions about 2 totally different things, like KFC, and the Holocaust. Of course both are unfortunate, but just because the Holocaust is worse doesn't give justification to the unnecessary murder of animals. Why don't you get a life, Anti Marx? How many ridiculous questions have you asked on the Yahoo Answers Vegetarian/Vegan section? Grow up.

Oh you are so very clever. You've associated vegans with PeTA. Brilliant.I am not a member of PeTA nor do I support them, does that completely burst your bubble?(actually PeTA tends to advocate for vegetarianism, not veganism)
