Party invitess helpp please :)?

Okay guys its my 18ths coming up and im going to be having a family house party with all my aunts uncles cousins and a few friends. I am going to be doing a theme of "hollywood" like the whole "Glitz and Glam" etc etc.So I need to put on the invites that everyone has to come with a bit of shine! Like No excused everyones GOT to come dressed for a glitz and glam party but I really don't no how to put it? Ive already got "A Night of Glitter, Glam & Glitz," As the head line thing, so I now need a slogan that means everyones Got to dress nice .. I no its only a house party but i don't want people in like jeans i want girls in nice dresses etc although there guna get cold because its going to be January but oh well. Sorry just going on and on but help will be really appreciated!! :) x

Go with what you are saying. Really dress up the invitations so they are eyecatching. At the bottom in small print include "cocktail dress attire required" or "Hollywood Style dress attire required" or something of that nature. That's very direct and can't be misunderstood.I'm sure most will get the point if you title the invitation "A Night of Glitter, Glam and Glitz"

if you theme it 30's Hollywood no-one will come in jeansand if it's all your rellies, why don't you do a walk of fame stars thing and get them all to do hand prints (in paint) on stars that you can then give them to take home OR keep OR scan in and keep as a big momento of who was there you'll need to prepare stars (black paper with gold edges) and some paint and some silver pens for them to sign with have fun

People love competitions! Have some cheesy prize for best costume, most original outfit and so on.Put on your invitation "And the Oscar goes to ...
