What are your favorite things to put in a green salad?

Anything that negates the healthiness of it being a salad - croutons, bacon bits, copious amounts of salad dressing, etc.

I usually throw in feta, candied pecans or walnuts, dried cranberries, and Champagne vinaigrette.

I like fruit in mine. Strawberries, or other berries, grapes, slit in halves, pineapple chunks, dark cherries, melon, etc.

Baby spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes, green peppers, red onions, black olives, kidney beans, shredded cheese, bacon bits.As for the dressing...right now I'm hooked on the Newman's Own Low Fat Sesame Ginger dressing.

The only other green leafy veggie would be rocket.TomatoesEggsSpring onionsGrated carrot and cheeseCeleryCold cuts or deli-meats.Seasonings like salt and pepper.I rarely use a dressing and use whatever I have at hand.
