have you tried them recently? i know i sound like your parents, probably, but if you try them, it may get them off your back. you say "i'll try them and if i like them then great, and if i don't, can you leave me alone about it?"

I have the same problem with mushrooms. I enjoy 99% of foods and usually cant stand mushrooms.I've learned to acquire a taste for them on certain foods. It makes a big difference how their cooked, and if they don't soak up enough other flavors, they can be sort of bland and all you can taste is their weird texture. Take them a little at a time and you might like them certain ways better than others. That being said, I still cannot eat portabella mushrooms.

Politely say no thanks. Try them again every once in awhile. I started liking them (prepared certain ways) in my late teens. Now I like them almost any way but raw.

Say that if you eat mushroom you would hallucinate flying turtle, walking shrooms and a kidnapped princess by a giant Gamera! Ok I'm serious now. Seriously I have not many solution to toll you except the tantrum

Here's the secret...IGNORE them! Just I G N O R E them it's really that simple. You're feeding the stupidity if you keep saying "no!". Just ignore it, you'll get used to it and not even focus on them saying it after a while.

You could just continue to decline, or teach yourself to like them (or atleast tolerate them)I have realized that if you make yourself eat something regularly, eventually you develop a taste for them. Try eating one every day for a couple weeks. See what happens..But its really not a horrible thing if you dont eat them. Sure, they are good for you, but not super nutrient dense, so as long as you eat enough other healthy foods you should be good to go.

Ha ha ha! Well, there's a Dr. Seuss book where the guy tries them in the end, on the promise of then being left alone. It turns out that he likes them!Make a deal where you try them once and then they never mention it again. Or, just ignore it and try to find it funny.
